Malden School Resource Officer Reassigned After Kirk Comments: Report
The officer reportedly made comments about the activist's death on social media.
MALDEN, MA — A school resource officer has been reassigned due to comments made about the recent assassination of conservative media figure Charlie Kirk, according to a report from WCVB NewsCenter 5.
Police Chief Glenn Cronin confirmed that the officer, who was not identified, had been moved to the patrol division after making the controversial statements on social media. Cronin said the decision’s purpose was to “ensure continued trust, professionalism, and alignment” with the standards Malden’s officers should be held to.
