Malden's Newest Car Wash To Hold Kickoff Party This Weekend

MALDEN, MA — The public is invited to a Grand Opening Kickoff Party this weekend at the new Prestige Car Wash in Malden.

The event is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the new business, located at 62 Broadway.

According to the Prestige Car Wash Facebook page, the event will feature free car washes and family fun, including food trucks, sweet treats, surprise giveaways and visits from Disney characters.

"Prestige Car Wash looks forward to serving the Malden community and is excited to elevate your car wash experience. See you soon!" the company wrote on Facebook.

On Tuesday, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the Malden location that featured Malden Mayor Gary Christenson and members of the Prestige Car Wash team.

According to the Prestige website, the car wash features the most state-of-the-art and highest-quality equipment in the industry. The company's high-tech car wash provides the ultimate combination of high-pressure water and soft cloth technology that is gentle to a vehicle's finish.

Malden city officials describe Prestige as a local family business. On the company website, Prestige lists 20 open car wash locations and four other locations under renovation. All locations are in Massachusetts. Five of the open locations also feature gas stations, though Malden is a car wash-only facility.
