Mayor Gary Christenson, State Representatives Paul Donato and Steve Ultrino welcomed new business owners Elias and Juana Interiano. City officials said the new owners made considerable investments to the infrastructure of the building and the parking area.
The interior has been transformed to a beautifully decorated hacienda with tiles and furniture made and painted in Mexico.
The Mayor and attendees sampled fresh authentic dishes taking in the flavors, atmosphere and the colors of Mexico, while experiencing the unique sounds of the mariachi.
“We want to become a part of the fabric of Malden,” said El Potro owner Elias Interiano. “We look forward to getting to know the community and becoming a destination spot for families and friends.”
