'Rat it again!’: Boston Man Threatens People With Rat At Malden T Stop

MALDEN, MA – A Boston man “well known” to Transit Police was arrested Thursday around 4 p.m. at the Oak Grove T Orange Line T stop in Malden for causing disturbances with his rat, the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority reported in a Tweet.

The 57-year-old, whose name has not been released by police, was said to have been consuming alcohol, being disorderly, and refusing to leave, according to the tweet.

His pet rat, Jerry, was turned over to animal control, police said.
