Three Malden Police Officers Sworn in at City Hall
A trio of new Malden Police officers were recently sworn in at City Hall.
Three new Malden Police officers were recently sworn in at City Hall, according to a city press statement.
Mayor Gary Christenson,Β PoliceΒ Commissioner Salvatore Gennetti andΒ PoliceΒ Chief Kevin Molis participated in the swearing-in ceremonyΒ on Monday.Β Officers Joshua Redmond, Sean Hussey and George Lopez were sworn in, withΒ family membersΒ and fellow officers in attendance.
The new recruits have recently finished their training at the BoylstonΒ PoliceΒ Academy and are ready for duty, reads the statement.
"Iβm pleased to welcome our new officers," Christenson said in the statement. "Hiring newΒ policeΒ officers and the safety of our city is a top priority and Iβm pleased to have them on board."
