Traffic Alert: Installation of a Water Line May Cause Delays For a Couple of Weeks

Malden Police alerted commuters who use Route 60 or those who park at the Jackson Street Parking Garage, 7 Jackson St., that they’re likely to have a longer commute than usual for a while.

“Over the next two weeks, the installation of a new water line on the corner of Jackson Street and Route 60 may cause traffic delays and alternate routes of entry into the Jackson Street Garage,” according to Malden Police. “You may want to seek an alternate route to avoid traffic and for those pulling into the garage, you may need to proceed to Exchange Street and right on Jackson to enter the garage as the turn may be blocked off at times.”
