UPDATED: Man Arrested in Connection With Fatal Shootings in Revere

Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Suffolk District Attorney's office and Revere Police are investigating.

UPDATED:REVERE, MA - Police arrested a Lynn man in connection with the double homicide on Friday night in Revere.

Michael Deleon, 36, of Lynn, is expected to be arraigned on Monday, according to the Suffolk District Attorney’s office.

Authorities also released the name of the victim’s on Friday afternoon: Peter Pitari, 66, and Cristy Johnson, 35, both of Revere, died of their injuries at area hospitals. A third victim, a 38-year-old male, was grievously injured and remains hospitalized.

All three sustained gunshot wounds inside a residence at 70 Waite St., according to authorities.

Two people were killed and a third was seriously wounded in a shooting on Thursday night in Revere, according to the Suffolk District Attorney’s office.

The deceased are a 66-year-old male and a 35-year-old female, both residents of Revere. Their names are being withheld until full family notifications can be made. A third victim, a 38-year-old male, was grievously injured and remains hospitalized, according to the D.A’s office.

All three sustained gunshot wounds inside a residence at 70 Waite St.

The shooting occurred in a first-floor apartment.

According to 7News,whdh.com, neighbors say they heard a scuffle yelling and cries for help.

Suffolk District Attorney Daniel Conley’s Office said state police assigned to that office are investigating.
