 - Friday and Satruday - Caught In The Act is an original musical written, developed and now showing right here at the Mansfield Music and Arts Society.   It is a family fun show about a troup of radio performers putting on a radio show in May of 1936.   You'll enjoy the comedy skits, old commercials and the wonderful varitey of old popular music.   The cast is wonderful and includes childern and adults.

... Wrentham Cub Scout Pack 131 with a generous grant from  the Wrentham Cultural Council is sponsoring a night of Yo Yo expertise on Friday, May 18, 2012. The show will be at King Philip Regional High School Auditorium at 7 pm-doors open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is Family Friendly!  Tickets $5 for adults and $3 for children.  Tickets will be available at the door. The Yo-Yo People bring back that nostalgic toy, reminding you of old favorite tricks such as Walk the Dog and Rock the Baby, then will amaze the audience with new and bizarre tricks, such as Boingy-Boingy and Iron Whip. The Foxborough High School is presenting  at 7 p.m.The Foxboro Music Association is excited to present its 31st annual Spring Jazz Fest with guest artist Donny McCaslin and featuring the Ahern Junior Jazz Band with the Foxboro High School Jazz Lab Band, Jazz Ensemble, and Jazz Choir. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and students. All proceeds from the concert will help fund music scholarships for Foxboro students, guest artists, and commissioning of new musical works.

Art Adventures will be at the Children's Museum in Easton today at 10 a.m. For more information, 

 - The yard sale will have a plethora of items for everyone. There will be toys for the kids and other items for adults. Proceeds from the sale will go to Troop 131 to help maintain camping equipment and fund Troop activities. The yard sale will take place at the Wrentham Center parking lot at the corner of South Street (Route 1A)and Route 140. It will begin at 9am and end at 2pm. There will be bikes, sports equipment, books, toys, clothing, household items, exercise equipment and more.

 - Multi Family Yard Sale - In the plaza where Hot Spots Tanning Salon is.  Huge selection of items:  lots of baby stuff; housewares; appliances; books; jewelry; girls teen clothing; games; cd's; movies.  8 to 2 pm both saturday and sunday, May 19th and 20th - rain or shine.  no early birds please.

The Mansfield Music and Arts Society is holding . This production will be East Coast première of the stunning new, award winning, original adaptation of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream by Matthew Kellen Burgos and Sam R. This production will be MMAS’s first outdoor production.  It will be presented at Mansfield’s Fulton Pond park.  It will be a free “Shakespeare in the Park” production.

 

Maplewood Day Camp & Enrichment Center will host a , a scholarship fund founded in memory of local Easton athlete Danroy Henry, Jr. (DJ) that helps local students in need participate in wellness programs, summer camps and athletic activities. The event will take place at Maplewood’s 30-acre site and feature a variety of activities include boating, family canoe races, rock climbing, gymnastics, face painting, a football obstacle course, a 3 on 3 basketball tournament, field sports, moonwalks and zumba. Tickets for the event, which include all activities and lunch, are $10 per individual or $30 per family of up to six members. All proceeds will support the DJ Dream Fund. The Mansfield Bank is hosting the .  Both events will be held simultaneously on Sunday May 20, 2012 from 9:00am-1:00pm here in the parking lot of Mansfield Bank – 80 North Main Street Mansfield Ma. All donations will be accepted and 100% of the funds raised go towards American Cancer Society via Mansfield’s Relay for Life. Come on down and browse our wares (donated by Mansfield Bank Employees) as we wash your car.

Camp Edith Read is located on 44 acres along Wading River and offers girls the chance to explore nature in a safe, fun environment. The site includes a lodge, playing field, adventure trail, shelter for rainy day activities and an in-ground swimming pool.
