Mansfield Boys Take First Place Overall at All-State Track Championship

Mansfield boys as a team placed first during the MIAA All-State Track Championship. 

Josh Lampron won twice for Mansfield, placing first in the boys 800 meter run. He beat the standing record of 1:52.2 with a time of 1:51.99. The original record was held by Bill Martin of Catholic Memorial and stood since 1975. Lampron also placed first in the boys 1 mile run with a time of 4:07.88.

Jen Esposito placed first in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:02.17. 

The Mansfield boys 4x400 meter relay team placed second overall with a team time of 3:22.33. Kevin Giffels ran for 51.6, Griffin Robertson came in at 50.2,  Nick King went in for 51.5 and Matt Baldasare came in at 48.9. Baldasare also placed fourth in the boys 400 meter hurdles.
