Mansfield Police Log: Counterfeit, Mailboxes and Missing Safes

June 11

11:45 a.m. Caller reported that his parents’ mailbox was vandalized recently and taken out of the ground on Colonial Drive. Another call came half an hour later reporting the same on Harvestwood Lane and Wexford Drive.

12:42 p.m. Caller reported a student had assaulted a teacher at the Mansfield High School.

2:33 p.m. Kohl’s reported that a male party took a pair of socks and a wallet from the store.

4:35 p.m. Scott Campion, 33, of 162 Pleasant Ave. in Springfield was arrested for violating his harassment order.

June 12

3:31 p.m. Kohl’s reported a sales associate from Best Buy just shoplifted a pair of shoes from the store.

4:34 p.m. Caller reported finding three compound bows in his yard.

4:41 p.m. Caller reported receiving a counterfeit bill.

June 13

5:17 p.m. Caller reported a larceny of golf clubs from the Mansfield Crossing Sports Authority. Older reports of larceny, including another theft of a few clubs and one other incident in which $1,200 were taken were also logged.

June 14

12:08 p.m. Caller reported that his residence was broken into. A safe was found to be missing when he came home.

4:57 p.m. Caller reported a hit and run on South Main Street on the on ramp to Route 495.
