Mansfield Police Log: OUI, Delivery Hit and Shoplifting
The following is from the Mansfield Police Log from June 8 to June 10.

June 8
12:50 a.m. Robert Trilling, 24, of 21 Erick Rd. was arrested for operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. A caller initially reported a bad collision on Chauncy Street near the underpass.
5:13 a.m. Caller reported a tree down across the road on Pratt Street.

2:54 p.m. Debra Varnadore, 38, of 742 North Main St. was arrested for counterfeiting of U.S. legal tender.
5:56 p.m. Caller reported damage to his mailbox on Lancashire Drive.

8:36 p.m. Caller reported that his iPod Touch was stolen while having maintenance done on his vehicle at the Mansfield Gas Service Station.
Jun 9
5:36 a.m. Caller reported that his mailbox was damaged, as well as several neighbors, on South Whitepine Lane. A house was also egged during the night.
3:39 p.m. Representative from Best Buy reported that they have detained a shoplifter at the security desk. Party had been seen attempting to steal a CD.
5:48 p.m. Charles Ingolia, 25, of 14 Concetta Dr. was arrested for leaving the scene of property damage(hit and run). A caller reported that his vehicle was struck while he was parked on the side of School Street, possibly by a Quan’s Kitchen delivery driver. Police checked Quan’s and found the operator of the offending vehicle.
8:08 p.m. Eric Taverna, 40, of 41 Highridge Rd. was arrested for shoplifting at the Best Buy.
June 10
10:33 a.m. Caller reported a hit and run to her motor vehicle while she was inside the Café on the Common. No witnesses found.
1:26 p.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that a vehicle struck hers while she was parked in Mansfield Crossing.
