The following is from the Mansfield Police Log from May 20 to the morning of May 22.

May 20
2:22 a.m. Caller reported a street sign knocked down and glass in the roadway on Chauncy Street.
1:40 p.m. Fred Baskin III, 23, of 870 Truman Highway in Hyde Park was arrested for violating his restraining order.

8:31 p.m. Caller reported a break in at his residence on West Street. Approximately $4,000 worth of jewelry was taken.
May 21

12:46 p.m. Caller reported a roadway obstruction on North Main Street under the railroad bridge.
3:55 p.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that his motor vehicle was vandalized while it was parked on Forbes Boulevard.
11:09 p.m. Caller reported that he came home to find a window smashed, his front door open and a rock in his living room. A large amount of jewelry was taken.
May 22
7:24 a.m. Caller reported that his motor vehicle was broken into sometime during the night while it was parked on Davis Street. An iPod was reported
