Here are 5 things you should know before you start your Tuesday:

1. It's going to be a soggy and cold day. The National Weather Service says snow and “possibly a brief period of sleet or freezing rain” is forecasted for Tuesday. Two to six inches of snow is forecasted to fall, with the total likely to be the lower end of the range in Marblehead. Snow is expected to begin between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. and eventually change to rain by late Tuesday afternoon.

2. Sorry folks, traffic getting in and out of Marblehead will be heavier today as Salem State University is back in session today. Leave a little extra time for your morning commute and watch out for pedestrians.
