5 Things You Need To Know Today, Tuesday, Jan. 25

Here are 5 things you need to know today.

Before you start your Tuesday, here are 5 things you should know:

1. Here's one way to get over all this cold - start thinking about the summer. Tonight at The Landing from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., the logo contest for the Festival of Arts will be held. Every year the Festival is represented by a new logo, the result of a design competition. Past winners have included professional artists, graphic artists, college art students, high school students, and talented amateurs. Entries have been submitted in this year's Logo Contest, a panel of judges has selected four finalists, and the public has cast ballots to determine the winner. The public is invited to the Logo Premiere Party tonight, where the winning logo entry will be announced. Hors d'oeuvres will acompany a cash bar, and music will be provide by Take Two (Christine Constantine Lucas & Patrick Hayden). All are welcome. The four potential designs are pictured with this column. Leave your guess for the winner in our comments section below!
