Car Windows Smashed Overnight

The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police log:
- At 12:24 p.m. Wednesday, a resident of Auburndale Road said she got a call alerting her she won the Jamaican lottery. The person told her to send a check for $150 to a Georgia address. The resident knew it was a scam, but wanted to alert the police.
- At 1:54 p.m. Wednesday, the cover to the green light at Atlantic Avenue and Ocean Avenue came off.
- At 10:09 p.m. Wednesday, a resident of Franklin Street complained a guest next door was "out of control." The party guest according to the man, smashed the storm door and was "wreaking havoc." Police arrested Bernt Ruediger, 53, 38 High St., Petersborough, N.H., and charged him with malicious destruction of property over $250 and malicious destruction of property under $250.
- At 6:25 a.m. Thursday, a resident of  Bowden Street found his car window smashed and briefcase taken.Â
- At 7:19 a.m. Thursday, a car on Pinecliff Drive was broken into. The passenger side window was smashed.Â
- At 7:26 a.m. Thursday, a car was found with its window smashed on Village Street.
