Frost Advisory for Marblehead

Marblehead was placed under a frost advisory; temperatures will drop to the 30s. May 1 is Sunday!

MARBLEHEAD, MA — A frost advisory was issued for Marblehead Thursday.

The advisory is in effect through Thursday at 8 a.m.

Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if uncovered, according to the National Weather Service.

Here's the advisory:

A FROST ADVISORY...REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 8 AM EDT THURSDAY.
LOCATION...HARTFORD COUNTY CONNECTICUT...RHODE ISLAND... COASTAL MASSACHUSETTS FROM CAPE COD NORTH TO CAPE ANN.
TEMPERATURES...IN THE UPPER 30S.
IMPACTS...SENSITIVE OUTDOOR PLANTS MAY BE KILLED IF LEFT UNCOVERED.

Unseasonably cold weather will continue for Marblehead heading into the weekend—May 1 is Sunday.
