
Tired of the snow and cold? If you can't jet off to someplace warm, make the most of it here in Marblehead. Wether it's watching a hockey game outside or putting your creativity to the test with cake decorating or origami, here are 5 things to do this weekend.Â

1. Ice, Ice - The Bud Orne Tournament will be played this weekend. Head to the outdoor rink at and take in some old fashioned outdoor hockey. Some say, it is often a heated tournament.

2.  Act -  From 2 to 4 p.m. today at the , auditions will be held for Out of Circulation, a new comic mystery written for students ages 10 to 16 by playwright and director Katie Oberlander. Cast of characters include a young librarian, a librarian instructor, a famous soap opera actress, and an eccentric custodian, to name a few. The group gets trapped in the library during a snow storm. People start disappearing and books written about them show up stamped "out of circulation." Rehearsals will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Salem YMCA. Performances will be April 1 to 3. 3. Decorate - Burke's Tumbling Academy in Swampscott is holding a Memorial Scholarship Fund and remember Allie's birthday.Â

4.  Fold - Interested in learning origami, but worried it's too complex to understand?  At Saturday from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. there will be a basic lesson into the world of origami. Most appropriate for kids ages six to sixteen.
5. Awaken - The will present "Awakening The Dreamer, Changing the Dream," program presented by the Pachamama Alliance to provide an opportunity for people with an interest in the future sustainability of the planet to meet like-minded community members, reflect on a range of issues, and consider an array of ways to make a difference going forward. There will be short films and video clips. $25; Students $10; no one will be turned away.
