Marblehead Christmas Tree Collection For Riverhead Beach Bonfire This Week

Trees collected this week will be part of the bonfire set for Saturday at Riverhead Beach.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead will collect Christmas trees curbside this week to be part of Saturday's annual Christmas Tree bonfire at Riverhead Beach.

Trees will continue to be picked up curbside through Jan. 12. After that, trees should be brought to to the town's transfer station.

Residents are invited to the annual bonfire with the lighting set for 6 p.m.

All trees left out for curbside pickup must have all lights, ornaments and stands removed or they will not be picked up.

Holiday wreaths, roping and garland will not be picked up as well.
