Marblehead Drivers Told To Slow Down After Student-Involved Accident
Superintendent John Buckey sent out the alert to families with more road work set for the area of the school on Wednesday.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead Superintendent John Buckey is urging drivers to reduce speed in school zones and be aware of construction-related changes in traffic patterns after a student was involved in an incident on Tuesday.
"We had an accident today with a student, which serves as a sobering reminder how important it is to be vigilant and mindful when driving," Buckey said in a letter to families late Tuesday afternoon.
The warning comes as a "critical and difficult" water service connection at Village Plaza is set for Wednesday that is expected to make things slow going for travelers in that area of town.
