Marblehead Harbor Rotary Holiday Pops 2024 Events Announced

Marblehead, Mass. – For most of the past quarter-century, Marblehead Harbor Rotary has presented its annual Holiday Pops featuring Maestro Dirk Hillyer and The Hillyer Festival Orchestra in historic Abbot Hall – an evening of splendor, celebration and magnificent music.

Holiday Pops is Marblehead Harbor Rotary’s most significant fundraising event, to date making possible over $600,000 in donations and charitable giving to nonprofits and philanthropic projects.

Marblehead Harbor Rotary invites you to consider participating in this year’s Holiday Pops as a significant sponsor, as an arts patron and as an audience member.

Sponsorship Opportunities – Deadline November 1, 2024

Sponsors can choose from a variety of options and ticket packages from a $100 single line in the program book to a $3,000 sponsorship that includes a full-color inside cover ad and a table for 10 on the floor. Other packages include black-and-white ads and either floor seats or balcony seats as well as the satisfaction of being a patron of excellent music and worthy causes. The deadline for sponsorships is Friday, November 1.

Holiday Pops Artist Reception honoring Ian Sherwin – Wednesday, November 13

Holiday Pops invites a local artist to provide the signature logo art for that year’s Pops. This year’s featured artist is Ian Sherwin whose gallery is located at One State Street in Marblehead. An artist reception in his honor and the official unveiling of his 2024 Pops artwork will be held on Wednesday, November 13, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Masons’ Philanthropic Lodge, 62 Pleasant Street in Marblehead. The reception will be catered by Louise Moore of Every Little Breeze Catering. This reception is free and open to the public. Notecards of the art, raffle tickets for an opportunity to win the original art and concert balcony tickets will be available for purchase.

Holiday Pops Champagne Reception and Concert – Saturday, December 14

The Holiday Pops 2024 Concert features Maestro Dirk Hillyer and the Hillyer Festival Orchestra with baritone soloist Andrew Scoglio.

The doors of Abbot Hall in Marblehead will open at 7 p.m. for the Champagne Reception catered by Louise Moore and tended by Northshore Bartending Services. The concert begins at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale November 13. Floor tickets are $85 each and balcony tickets are $45 each. Seating is limited.
