Marblehead Riverhead Beach Christmas Tree Bonfire Back For 2024
Christmas trees will be picked up curbside for the bonfire from Dec. 26 through Jan. 3.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead residents are invited to ring out the holiday season and get together to look forward to the new year with the annual Riverhead Beach Christmas tree bonfire.
This year's bonfire will be held on Jan. 6 at 6 p.m.
Christmas trees will be picked up curbside from Dec 26 through Jan. 3 for the bonfire. Trees will continue to be picked up through Jan. 10 for recycling.

After Jan. 10, residents should bring trees to the town's transfer station for proper disposal.
All trees left curbside from Dec. 26 through Jan. 10 must have all lights, ornaments and stands removed, and not be in plastic bags.

Any tree not meeting these requirements will not be picked up. In addition, holiday wreaths, roping and garland will not be picked up.
