Marblehead Snow Emergency Parking Ban Called Ahead Of Sunday Storm
The snow emergency parking ban will begin at midnight on Sunday night and last until 7 a.m. Monday morning, resuming overnight Monday.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead has declared a snow emergency parking ban ahead of a winter wallop that could bring 6 inches of snow or more to the North Shore late Sunday into early Monday.
The ban is set to begin at midnight Sunday night and last until 7 a.m. on Monday morning. The ban is then set to resume at midnight on Monday night and last until 7 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
During these times all vehicles must be removed from the streets. A winter storm mix of snow, ice and freezing rain has been forecasted, which could result in snow accumulation, and icy roads.

Marblehead DPW requires the roads to be cleared of vehicle to safely conduct snow operations.
It will be illegal to park any vehicle, including boats and trailers, on any public way during the Snow Emergency. Any vehicle, boat or trailer that is not off the public way between 12 a.m. and 7 a.m. on Monday and Tuesday will be subject to being ticketed and or towed. Depositing snow and ice, on or against a fire hydrant, or on any sidewalk or roadway is prohibited.

If you can keep your vehicles off the streets when the snow starts on Sunday that would also help with snow removal operations, Marblehead officials said.
