Marblehead Thanksgiving Cats, Kittens Food Drive

The Marblehead Animal Shelter will be collecting items for adult cats and kittens in Beverly, Marblehead and Swampscott this week.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Thanksgiving feasts are for kitties too.

The Marblehead Animal Shelter is seeking donations for adult cats and kittens in their care during the holiday season with its annual Homeless Cats & Kittens Thanksgiving Food Drive through Sunday.

The shelter is looking for wet food — no fish flavors — for kittens, dry food for kittens, wet and dry food for adult cats, and meat-flavored baby food (Gerber's No. 2).

Drop-off locations are at the Marblehead Animal Shelter at 44 Village Street in Marblehead, PETCO at 419 Paradise Road in Swampscott, Stop & Shop at 450 Paradise Road in Swampscott and Stop & Shop at 224 Elliott Street in Beverly.
