Marblehead Utility Pole Crash Detours Tedesco Street Traffic
Officials said traffic traveling outbound on Tedesco Street towards Vinnin Square was to be detoured for several hours Tuesday afternoon.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — A crash into a utility pole caused traffic from Tedesco Street toward Vinnin Square to be detoured Tuesday afternoon.
Marblehead police said the car crash compromised the pole near Tedesco Street and Longview Drive. Traffic on Tedesco Street going toward Vinnin Square was detoured left onto Palmer Road to Humphrey Street.
Police said inbound traffic on Tedesco Street was flowing normally.

"Verizon has been notified and is on the way with a new pole but this detour could be in place for several hours," police said about 1:30 p.m.
Police said there were no injuries in the single-car crash.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area Tuesday with workers in the roadway.
