Marblehead's Chloe Curtis To Sing At Boston A Cappella Championships
The Emerson College sophomore will perform with Pitch, Please! on Saturday at the at the Berklee Performance Center.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead's Chloe Curtis will be part of the Northeastern University a cappella group Pitch, Please that will be competing Saturday at the Northeast quarterfinals of the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella competition at the Berklee Performance Center in Boston.
Curtis, a sophomore at Emerson College, will be joined by Siri Boyalakuntla, Chloe Cohen, Bethany Davies, Kiki Deutschmann, Gabriella Federighi, Stefanie Feliciano, Maddy Krempler, Sophie Langton, Jamie Leahy, Oli Leto, Lina Mai, Julia Marino, Mia Martin, Ava Mastroianni, Olivia Materetsky, Sofia Noyes, Briana San Phillips and Prgna Shashidhar.
ICCA is a competition of over 450 a cappella groups from across the U.S. and Europe. On Saturday, 10 collegiate a cappella groups from across the Northeast will compete in hopes of moving on to the ICCA semifinal round.

Pitch, Please! is a women-centered treble a cappella group composed of members from across the Northeast, as well as New Jersey, California, and Europe. Curtis is a second-year member of Pitch Please! The Emerson sophomore co-starred in the group's latest music video "Only Girl," on which she also worked as a production assistant.
In 2024, Pitch, Please! sang the National Anthem at the Red Sox Women's Celebration Game. Later this month, the group will head to San Francisco to compete at the annual College Notes competition.

Other groups competing on Saturday include Brown University's The Brown Derbies, Northeastern University's Distilled Harmony, UMass-Lowell's Hawkapella, UMass-Lowell's The Hawkettes, Brown University's Jabberwocks, Bentley University's Off the Clock, Suffolk University's Ramifications, Babson College's Rocket Pitches and Boston University's Treblemakers.
