Marblehead's Pleasant Street To Close 2 Days For Road Work
More digging on Pleasant Street will shut down the road to through traffic on Monday and Tuesday.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — More digging on Pleasant Street will shut down the road to through traffic on Monday and Tuesday.
The digging will take place between Village Street and Prospect Street. The road will be closed in both directions for all travel, with the exception of emergency vehicles, the MBTA and large trucks. Residents, businesses and customers will also be assisted in and out with the help of detail officers.
This closure is expected to last until approximately 5 p.m. on both Monday and Tuesday.

All inbound Pleasant Street traffic will be diverted towards Rowland Street and Prospect Street.
All outbound Pleasant Street traffic will flow normally until it reaches the detour and is diverted right on Village Street over to West Shore Drive.

Traffic on Village Street traveling towards Pleasant will only be able to turn left and head inbound onto Pleasant Street toward downtown.
Those having a need to access Vine Street and the Veterans School will do so from the Pleasant/Village intersection.
