Marblehead's Pleasant Street Reopens After Weeks Of Construction
There had been detours on and around the street during the ongoing Village Street digging project.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead residents got a bit of good news on the road work front on Wednesday as Pleasant Street reopened to through traffic after weeks of detours in the area.
Marblehead police said Pleasant Street was open in both directions on Wednesday, as was Vine Street to the school. Bessom Street and the Village Plaza are open as well.
Police said Village Street between Pleasant Street and Heritage Way remained closed in both directions with officers at the scene to assist local residents.

"While the rest of the roads are open, there is still a lot of heavy equipment moving around so the going will be slow and please, as always, continue to use caution and patience," Marblehead police said.
