MARBLEHEAD—New parking restrictions are in place on Humphrey Street. The Town of Marblehead has instituted a new 2-hour parking restriction on the inbound side of Humphrey Street stretching from Broughton Road towards the Tents Corner traffic intersection.
This restriction is in place to promote vehicle turnover for those having business at the Senior Center and Rec & Park building at 10 Humphrey Street.

Beginning this week, the Marblehead Police Department will be monitoring the parking area and leaving warning flyers on any vehicles there longer than 2 hours. Beginning the following week (Sept 4-8) and every week thereafter, vehicles left more than 2 hrs will receive a $25 parking ticket.
