Snow Covered Traffic Light and Burglary on Abbot Court

The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police log from Friday through Monday.
- At 8:09 a.m. Friday, police and fire responded to Pond and Green Street for a car that filled with smoke when the ignition was turned. The owner had the car  towed.
- At 8:22 a.m. Friday, a car was stuck on ice on Bessom Street.
- At 12:37 p.m. Friday, a motorist called police because the traffic light at Smith and Pleasant streets was covered in snow. The driver said she almost went through the light because she couldn't see it was red.
- At 1:21 p.m. Friday, a freight truck pulled down a wire on Carol Road.
- At 2:43 p.m. Friday, a mother brought her son into the station to report a suspicious man he encountered walking near school. According to the boy, the man was wearing a "hobo" hat with a short beard and pointed at him.
- At 8:27 p.m. Friday, a group of teens was spoken to about throwing ice balls at cars downtown.
- Marblehead police stopped a car on Saturday at 2:11 p.m. after Swampscott Police called them regarding a scam. The suspect sold Patriots tickets to a person in the parking lot of the old General Glover in Swampscott. He was spotted on Atlantic Avenue. Swampscott Police will summons the man.
- At 12:24 a.m. Sunday, an Orne Street resident complained to police about snow removal keeping her awake.Â
- At 2:40 a.m. Sunday, police arrested Kristen Dinapoli, 19, 26 Holland Road, Wakefield, and charged her with driving while under the influence of alcohol, failure to stop or yield, Â and possession of class B drugs.Â
- At 6:14 p.m. Sunday, police found a lost boy on Atlantic Avenue. Police reconnected him with his mother.
- At 7:12 p.m. Monday, a resident of Abbot Court, returned home and found the house had been broken into. Police are investigating.Â
- At 10:56 p.m. Monday, police arrested Alex Goldstein, 25, 17 Pleasant St., Swampscott, and charged him with driving after license suspension, speeding in a special regulation zone, possession of class D drugs with intent to distribute and a school/park zone violation.Â
