Truck Hits Pole, Tears Sign Down

• Michele J. Silveira, 19, 9 Cleveland Road, Marblehead, was arrested Tuesday at 9:12 a.m. on a warrant. The arrest was made after a motor vehicle stop on Smith Street and Atlantic Avenue.
• At 10:03 a.m. Tuesday, a police officer working a detail spotted a white box truck hit a pole near Cross Street and tore a sign off a pole.
• At 9:04 p.m. Tuesday, a person walked into the police station and told police they were almost struck in a crosswalk on Atlantic Avenue.
• At 7:05 a.m. Wednesday, an Atlantic Avenue resident called police to complain about a man who goes through their trash and when he does it, scatters the trash all over the lawn.
