1. Less rain and higher temperatures (high of 67) are a good sign, but the National Weather Service says today will be mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and thunderstorms.

3. May is National Moving Month, the start of the busiest time of the year for changing residences. More than 37 million Americans—or about 13 percent—move to a different home every year, according to the latest U.S. Census Bureau statistics. The Better Business Bureau has some advice on how to avoid moving scams.
