1. After a cloudy start, the National Weather Service expects Tuesday to be partly-sunny with a high of 65 degrees.
2. Beginning Nov. 1, the Epicurean Room restaurant will be offering an All You Can Eat Breakfast Buffet on the first Tuesday of every month. The price: $7.50, which is all inclusive from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Menu options will include all the normal breakfast items, as well as omelet stations or waffle stations, and pastries. The will host an Howlarious Halloween with Mary Jo Maichack Thursday, Oct. 20 from 6 to 7 p.m. Storyteller Mary Jo has become known for the spookiest, eeriest, snort-your-candy-corn-in-the dark funniest set of Halloween fun. Never in bad taste, but definitely full of shivery fun, kids and adults will share jittery laughs with these timeless tales. Ages 5 and over. 4. The Marlborough Chamber of Commerce will host a Distinguished Speakers Breakfast with Lt. Gov. Tim Murray this Friday, Oct. 21 from 7:45 to 9 a.m. at the . Cost will be $20 for Chamber members; $30 for non-members. Murray will discuss the things going on at the State House in Boston that will be impacting and improving the Marlborough economy.
5. will offer free document shredding to the public from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22 at its Marlborough branch located at 865 Donald Lynch Blvd. Individuals and small businesses may bring as much as they’d like shredded — there’s no limit. Paper only — no binders (paperclips, staples and elastics are acceptable). DCU will provide literature regarding prevention, detection, and defense against ID theft, demonstrations on how to deposit checks from home with PC Deposit, as well as how to deposit checks by taking a picture of them by using an iPhone or Android phone with Mobile PC Deposit. Also, the credit union will be offering free credit report reviews while shredding.
