1. Today may be one of the last summer-like days of the year with sunny skies and a high in the low 80s, says the National Weather Service. The forecast for the rest of the week includes rain on Thursday and much cooler temperatures over the weekend. 

2. For those getting ready to hit the road on their way to work or school this morning, be prepared for heavy delays on 495 N before Simarano Dr. due to a multi-car accident and some road construction. Seek an alternative route if you can. 

3. The Marlborough office of the Better Business Bureau is asking consumers to avoid unscrupulous auto mechanics. While no specifics are mentioned in their release, the BBB offers some great tips that could help save you a lot of money and aggravation.
