9/11 Stories from Across the State on Facebook

Here at Marlborough Patch, we take social media pretty seriously.

The platform is one way we look to interact with you, answer your questions and get to see what's on your mind. Social Media Saturday is a weekly feature where we highlight your questions and thoughts you've shared on Facebook, Twitter and other media throughout the past week.

We'll also point you to some new and interesting pages you may not have known about before.

Highlights of the Week:

Currently, we've got 651 fans liking us on Facebook, which is a great thing. We've also got 491 followers on Twitter, with numbers growing every day. Here are some highlights of what took place this week:

• Former teacher and Marlborough businessman Cosmo Valente expressed his gratitude for being named the Grand Marshal of the 60th Annual Labor Day Parade in a video for Marlborough Patch. This post was greeted by many "likes" and comments from community members.
• Marlborough resident and photographer Paul Bishop shared a great with us this week of the 60th Annual Labor Day Parade. The photos got a lot of attention on Patch and solicited many comments. 
• Patches across Massachusetts have been posting stories all week about the many lives that were affected by the events of 9/11. If you'd like to read some of these interesting and touching pieces, head on over to the special Facebook page.
