Assault In Marlborough Dentist Office: Man Charged With Strangulation

Police said a local man entered the dental office and started attacking another man he didn't know.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — A Marlborough man is facing multiple charges — including strangulation — after he attacked a person inside a local dentist's office, according to police.

The attack happened near 2 p.m. Wednesday at an office near the corner of Main and Bolton streets when a 29-year-old walked inside and starting fighting with a man in the waiting room.

Police said the two men did not know each other. The fight escalated when the man started strangling the victim. The fight was over by the time police arrived.

The 29-year-old Reservoir Street resident was arrested on charges of assault and battery, disturbing the peace and strangulation.
