Bolton Street Tavern Outside Dining Approved

Here are five things to help inform your day in Marlborough.

City-Approved Waterside Dining
The Bolton Street Tavern has received approval to build a deck that will allow outside dining with views of Fort Meadow Reservoir. The 40 person deck is permitted to be open until 11 p.m. without any outside music.

Welcome to Marlborough/Best Ice Cream?
The Marlborough Patch would like to welcome one of Patch's own, Bill Gillman, to the area. Bill recently posted to our boards section asking where the best ice cream in town is. He has gotten a few responses, but I am sure he would love more as well as a friendly welcome to the Marlborough community.

Speaking of the Boards
You can post up your own question to one of our boards or make a comment on what is going on in town there. This is your space to voice your opinions and let everyone know what is going on around the city.

School's Out for One Committee Member
School Committee Member Margaret Dwyer has resigned. This leaves a spot open for those interested in getting involved. The School Committee and City Council will be convening to put someone in place for the remainder of the term, but could probably use interested people who have served in at least a similar position before.

Police Expansion?
Talks about possible expansion of fire department services in west Marlborough are set to also include discussion of police services. Mayor Arthur Vigeant will be spearheading the effort.
