Feb. 2: Marlborough Man Violates Abuse Prevention Order

Here is a sampling of the calls the Marlborough Police Department responded to Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011.

3:15 a.m.: Police aid a disabled motor vehicle at 376 Farm Rd. 

7:37 a.m.: A summons is served at 181 Boston Post Rd. E.

10:59 a.m.: Services are rendered by PD when they serve a summons to 218 W. Main St.

1:03 p.m.: There is a motor vehicle accident in the vicinity of Maple and Walker streets. 

2:07 p.m.: Robert J. Armitage III, 49, of 229 Raymond Rd., was arrested on charges of violating an abuse prevention order. Armitage was arrested Tuesday, Feb. 1 on several charges including assault and battery. See story .

3:15 p.m.: There is a report of annoying phone calls made the Comfort Inn, 880 Donald J. Lynch Blvd.

4:23 p.m.: Police aid a disable motorist at Boston Post Rd. E. and Hager St.

5:15 p.m.: Officers respond to the report of a domestic disturbance at 52 Pleasant St. Apt. 5. 

8:45 p.m.: An erratic motor vehicle operator is reported at Marlborough Hospital, 157 Union St.

10:09 p.m.: A burglar alarm sounds, and police check secure the residence at 16 West St.
