Man Caught With Almost 100 Grams Of Cocaine In Marlborough: Report

He told police he was "high on life."

MARLBOROUGH, MA — A man who was caught with drugs in Marlborough told police he was "high on life," according to the Community Advocate newspaper.

Scott Martin was charged after an incident at a Marlborough hotel on August 18. The Community Advocate reported that police found 97.4 grams of crack cocaine on Martin.

Officers went to the hotel after reports of a man getting in the face of another guest. Police said that Martin was screaming and punching walls, according to the report.

Police found a plastic bag with a substance, which was later identified as crack cocaine, according to the newspaper. Martin then denied that it was his.

Martin faces charges for cocaine trafficking and disturbing the peace. He was arraigned on August 19 and spent that night in jail, the newspaper reported.
