Man Pleads Not Guilty to Human Trafficking
A Marlborough man has plead not guilty to charges of human trafficking in Worcester Superior Court.

A Marlborough man that allegedly forced his then-pregnant girlfriend and another woman to perform sex acts for money at a Shrewsbury motel pleaded not guilty in Worcester Superior Court last week.
"He pleaded not guilty to two counts of trafficking of persons for sexual servitude and two counts of deriving support from prostitution," said Timothy J. Connolly, Communications Director for the Worcester District Attorney's Office.
Anthony Mannes, 38, of 36 Cross Street was charged following a special operation by Massachusetts State Police.

He was indicted by the Worcester County Grand Jury on August 24, said Connolly, and was arraigned in Worcester Superior Court on Sept. 20.
Judge David Ricciardone set bail at $50,000 and continued the case to Oct. 5, according to Connolly.
