Mandated Pet Safety and Disarming Underwater Explosives
Here are five things to help inform your day in Marlborough.

Phantom's Bill
A piece of legislation that would put responsibility on pet owners to ensure the safety of their pets when they leave a property continues to move through the state legislature. The bill that would provide protections for abandoned animals in foreclosed and abandoned properties in Massachusetts was filed in January.
Bees Knees
We at Marlborough Patch don't know if bees have knees, but if they do you can certainly learn about them at this weekend event at the Hudson Library.
Offenders Registered
Two sex offenders were registered by the Marlborough police recently. This does not necessarily mean that they have moved to the community recently as they may be re-registering on their birthday as required by law, according to police.

Obituaries are Stories
Some of the best stories do not get told until the person is gone. Among the obituaries in our latest listing is a "frogman" or someone who was responsible for disarming underwater explosives.
