Marlborough 2022 Summer Concert Series: Who's Playing, Brewing

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough's 2022 concert series will begin soon, featuring a variety of artists performing alongside offerings from local breweries.

The series will begin on June 9 with the classic rock group Late Bus hosting a special performance at Memorial Beach. The concert will come before the opening of the beach for the summer season on June 22.

Mayor Arthur Vigeant said the Memorial Beach concert is likely a first for the city.

"I don't recall having a concert held at Memorial Beach and thought it would be something different to offer folks," he said in a news release. "Our recreation staff was able to add an additional performance in the evening for all residents to enjoy."

The concert series will then move to Union Common on June 16 for the rest of the summer, with Thursday events through Aug. 11. Each all-ages performance will feature a different Marlborough brewery serving beer. Concertgoers will also enjoy upgrades at Union Common, including new tables, benches and lighting provided by the Marlborough Economic Development Corp.

• June 9 — Late Bus (classic rock) at Memorial Beach, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
• June 16 — Color Killer, Crack the Void, The Dialers (pop/punk), 7 p.m. With Tackle Box Brewing.
• June 23 — Usual Suspects (classic Rock), 7 p.m. With Flying Dreams Brewing.
• June 30 — Dom V & The Swing Out Band (big band), 7 p.m. With Lost Shoe Brewing.
• July 7 — South Bound Train Band (country), 7 p.m. With Tackle Box Brewing.
• July 14 — Childhood (pop) and Huck (rock), 7 p.m. With Flying Dreams Brewing.
• July 21 — True North (70s-80s rock), 7 p.m. With Lost Shoe Brewing.
• July 28 — Three of a Kind Band (classic rock/oldies), 7 p.m. With Tackle Box Brewing.
• Aug. 4 — Rico Barr Band (pop), 7 p.m. With Flying Dreams Brewing.
• Aug. 11 — The Reminisants (oldies/rock), 7 p.m. With Lost Shoe Brewing.
