MARLBOROUGH, MA — The Marlborough Police Department has officially welcomed its newest member.

Officer Maycon MacDowel was sworn in on Monday, according to a news release. He is a lateral transfer from the Daytona Beach Police Department.

MacDowel has seven years of experience and served in specialized task forces in Florida, according to police.
