'Wicked Nice' Guitarist Nuno Bettencourt Bowls In Marlborough
The Extreme guitarist has been on tour recently, including a controversial show at Indian Ranch in Webster.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Between a show with Aerosmith at Fenway Park and a showdown with police in Webster, Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt made time for some local family entertainment.
Apex Entertainment employee Tommy Zazulak reported Bettencourt was hanging out with friends and family Friday night in Marlborough, and made time to interact with fans.
Bettencourt was part of Extreme's original lineup when the glam-metal band formed in Boston in the 1980s. Bettencourt and Extreme played with Aerosmith on Thursday at Fenway Park for the "Dream On" band's 50th anniversary tour.

Extreme also made headlines earlier this month after a concert at Indian Ranch in Webster. Local police told a sound engineer to turn the band down after several noise complaints, and eventually turned the house sound off completely.
“In 30-something years of my (expletive) life, nobody has ever turned the house (sound) off on us. Not in Europe, not in Boston, ever,” Bettencourt told the crowd after the sound was cut, according to Boston.com.

Webster police then shut the whole concert down, fearing the guitarist's comments would spark a "disturbance."
But at Apex Entertainment in Marlborough, Bettencourt was nothing but fun and friendly.
"He was wicked nice, and a total gentleman," Zazulak said, also noting Bettencourt had an "Extreme Apex-perience."
