4. There is a Full Moon and Woodcock Walk tonight at . The American woodcock is a bird known by many names, including bog snipes, woodys, night partridge, bog suckers, mud bats or timberdoodles. Watch the full moon rise and as you walk the trails with a Felix Neck naturalist and watch the male woodcocks take off into the sky and perform for the females of the species, crashing to earth in a final daredevil act. Free for Members; $5.00 for non-members. 6:45 pm - 8:15 pm.
