1. As part of ’s Wednesday Cooking Demo series, Joe DaSilva of Saltwater Restaurant will be demonstrating recipes you can make at home. From 11 am – 1 pm. Free
2. Pulitzer-prize winning author Geraldine Brooks will kick off the of author talks at 5:30 pm at . Presented by the West Tisbury Library Foundation, Inc., this series of intimate evenings with noted authors will benefit the library’s capital campaign. 3. Come to in Vineyard Haven for a Salsa Class for Beginners and Advanced beginners. Learn basic step variations, body position and posture (solo and with a partner), simple shines, and basic turns. Learn to do a solid Cross Body Lead (CBL) and lead/follow simple turns. Fun and open to everyone that wants to learn salsa. From 7 pm – 9 pm. $10
