1. The is hosting tonight. Moms and Dads can get an evening off after they drop the kids off at the YMCA for Arts & Crafts, swimming, games and other fun activities. Snacks will be on hand. Please remember to pack a bathing suit and towel for the swimmers! 5 pm – 8 pm. Member $20/child $15/Siblings or Member $25 child $20/Siblings

4. Morphoses returns to Vineyard Arts Project for the third consecutive summer to create its first-ever full-length work, “Bacchae,” by Resident Artistic Director Luca Veggetti. Veggetti and the company’s twelve dancers will create the choreographic component of the multi-disciplinary production based on Euripides dance-driven play. Bacchae will premiere at the Joyce Theater in New York City, October 25- 30, 2011. 6 pm. Pay what you can. All donations are greatly appreciated. 508-413-2104
5. Come to the Theater for the Martha's Vineyard Film Society’s presentation of the Manhattan Short Film Festival for the eighth consecutive year. Martha’s Vineyard audiences, along with audiences from across North & South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa, will get to vote on the selection of the winning film.7:30 pm.
