1. Join the amazing as they add to the stockpile of over 16,000 pounds of veggies harvested from Island farms. They need pickers, drivers and processors. All gleaned food goes straight to Island school kitchens, senior citizens and folks in need. Meet at at 9:30 am.
2. West Tisbury Poet Laureate Fan Ogilvie will join Leslie Prosterman in a reading celebrating the release of Prosterman’s new book, Snapshots and Dances. Hosted by the . A brief Q & A session and book signing will follow. Refreshments served. 5 pm. Free
3. From today through Saturday, October 8th you can still visit the Martha’s Vineyard Museum’s Thomas . Learn more about the Cookes and Vineyard life through the architecture and artifacts unique our Island. 10 am – 4 pm. $7 adults, $6 seniors, $4 children 6-12
