How Did Summer 2011 Stack Up?

The coming of the Obama family to the Island for the third year in a row at the tail end of the season is beginning to feel like a benchmark for the end of summer.

Since the president is taking a break from a very tumultuous time in Washington to spend some time with his family here, we thought it might make sense to find out from you whether or not this summer has been one of improvement or decline.

Even if you are not a business owner outright, chances are, if you live here, you make a good portion of your living in the summer months. And with the entire country teetering on shaky economical ground, our community has felt its fair share of tremors.
