NANTUCKET, MA — An intact lower human jawbone was found on Nantucket's Wauwinet Beach Monday morning, authorities told the Cape Cod Times, according to a Thursday report.

The island's medical examiner Timothy Lepore told the outlet that the bone was missing all of its natural teeth, but two false teeth were still intact.

The existence of the implants in the jaw proved that it was less than 100 years old, as the first dental implant was installed in 1965, the medical examiner said.
