Mansion House Welcomes Four-Legged Friends

is delighted to welcome a new breed of guests, with eight new pet-friendly rooms available for everyone’s best friend starting early July. Former front porch retail space has been reallocated and Mansion House is in the process of designing pet friendly guest rooms.

“We love our new friends and know people hate leaving their pets behind when they travel,” Proprietor Susan Goldstein said; “and there really is no better place to be a dog than Martha’s Vineyard.” Each room will feature doggy beds and clean-up doggy bags and are located on the ground floor for stair-shy dogs. Each room will also feature balconies overlooking State Road or Main Street and two double beds, designed for families, friends and Fido. All of the eight new rooms will have two double beds and three of the new rooms will also offer sleeper sofas and can accommodate up to six people. Hardwood floors and aggressive cleaning protocols ensure all of the rooms will be free of allergens after pets head home from vacation. All Mansion House guests also enjoy free use of the health club, complimentary breakfast, free Wi-Fi and enjoy access to the harbor viewing cupola deck.
